What a memorable day of auditions in Saskatoon! Saskatchewan Express and DIWC continue to foster new talent in the West. The candidates braved a storm to get to the auds and we're so happy that they toughed it out in spite of the frigid temperatures and snow squalls.
We were pleased to be joined on our panel by long time colleague of George's, Juliette Perey-Perez, a Saskatoon dance studio owner whom George met years ago while he was touring with Les Ballets Jazz and was invited to guest teach for her in Cannes, France.
Following the auds, we took in the local scene, including a delectable dinner -- including a brussel sprout masterpiece -- at Canada's Top Chef' Dale Mackay's Kitchen Bar.
We then checked out "Throw Back Thursday" at Diva's night club where grad Katie Hofstra introduced us to some of the locals.
